Welcome to my blog

My name is Elizabeth (Beth) Eckhardt and I currently live in St. Paul Minnesota, but will be moving to New Zealand at end of August 2026. I’m an OB/GYN and I want to share my experience of medical care in the different healthcare systems. I’m sure there will be both positive and negative things in each place. I’m excited to practice in an underserved area on the north island in the Bay Of Plenty. I’m also going to share my adventures of moving overseas.

This is my first blog so you will have to give me a little grace. This will be boring until I learn what to do. I want everyone to be able to share in my life adventures and hopefully inspire others to take steps and achieve their dreams too!
